As much as the media pushes for controversial comments from Iha, he always comes out humble and professional. Hats off.

2. jcoriha - 4:07 pm // Wednesday, September 12, 2012

isn’t the race car thing something jimmy did after getting fired in 96.

3. gsmamz - 4:27 pm // Wednesday, September 12, 2012

Man that interviewer was pretty persistent about SP. And as usual, James kept it simple and classy.

4. redhawk - 10:22 pm // Wednesday, September 12, 2012

I wish Billy would take the high road like James does.

5. KingChris - 10:27 pm // Wednesday, September 12, 2012

I was waiting for James to call Billy “A piece of shit.”, but no James keeps it classy. James comes across as a cool dude.

6. Eric B - 11:20 pm // Wednesday, September 12, 2012

I used to think that James was the problem. Billy said years ago that James broke up the Pumpkins. So what! Billy worked them like dogs. I even read in a guitar magazine that Billy made Jimmy play Cherub Rock so many times in the studio that Jimmys hands were bleeding. I’m a professional drummer If someone would even attempt that shit with me I’d beat his ass. I’ve come to realize that Billy has some major issues. I’m more of a Coheed and Cambria fan these days because of it.

Eric B you come across like a fucking idiot.

please don’t give SP and CoCa fans a bad name. say less dumb shit.

as it relates to James: boring and aloof answers to straightforward interview questions about relevant topics is hardly “the high road” or “classy” or any other adjective-of-the-day used to describe James Iha.

i think he’s awesome and i’m certainly a fan but i don’t think it’s accurate to always paint him as some sort of victim and billy as a tyrant.

8. Eric B - 12:58 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Hey zanzabar call me a fucking idiot to my face and stop hiding behind the fucking internet like a fucking pussy! I know Karate and how to protect myself. Wanna meet somewhere? Didn’t think so you fucking cunt! If you can’t tell that Billy has problems you don’t know shit about him or SP and you don’t belong on this site why don’t you go listen to backstreet boys or some shit and visit their site. Oh wait they won’t accept you either because they’ve got more class then you. Oh I got it how about a Coheed site? Wait even Claudio Sanchez would beat your ass. Talk on the internet is cheap bitch.

9. Jack Tripper - 1:06 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Wow. That…was….AWESOME!

Please god don’t stop now, Rakim. I mean Eric B.

10. Jack Tripper - 1:08 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

C’mon guys! You gonna take that Zanzabar! Ohhhhh man!

OK sorry. I’m instigating. :)

11. gyang333 - 1:22 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Hey Erick B do you have fucking Tourette’s? Or are you just super fucking stupid?

12. Steve - 2:15 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

lol

13. Jack Tripper - 2:49 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Gyang333- I hope it’s a little of both, and he’s not just a troll. I have a picture in my head of Danny McBride for some reason, but wearing a white karate uniform and yellow belt everywhere and threatening to beat people’s asses constantly. If he’s really like that, then he totally gets a pass from me. In fact, I’d probably hang out with him a lot if I could..

14. Graves - 3:17 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

So avoiding questions and and giving cliched answers is classy? More like boring. At least Billy is open and honest.

“Playing guitar with other people is comparatively easy to being the main guy.” Maybe Iha finally gets what Billy went through to make SP successful.

15. gsmamz - 6:27 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Hey is there an icon or emoticon or whatever it’s called for lol or :lmfao: something about rolling on the floor etc lmfao & stuff

16. Is he one? - 7:20 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Eric B. is a fucking asshole.

I’m a ninja.

17. cheesey mcmayor - 8:04 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

i read that magazine too, articles on sp, led zeppelin, gene simmons, rob zombie…in fact i saved it and read it when i poop.

18. jcoriha - 11:05 am // Thursday, September 13, 2012

eric b, billy/butch said they did that because jc had just disappeared for a week on a cocaine bender, and they didn’t know if he was dead or not. jc seemed willing to prove himself in the studio again after a major scare to the rest of the team. as with many things related to band drama, there is more to it than simply ‘billy is a taskmaster’. clearly bc/jc both had issues, and both created something really great in spite of them.

personally, as someone who has had drummers be loose cannons on drugs, i love that story, especially since after the 2nd take billy/butch both pow-wowed and said let’s keep going even though we have the take.

19. Eric B - 4:35 pm // Thursday, September 13, 2012

So they had the take and they kept going? That’s really messed up. This is why the original four are no longer together its shit like that. I know he was gone for two weeks or whatever but why torture the guy? Its nuts! And this hits home because I’m a drummer. Fuck!

20. jcoriha - 6:19 pm // Thursday, September 13, 2012

that was on jimmy too. he was to prove he wasn’t still drugged out.

how many drummers does it take to screw in a lightbulb…..5. 1 to do it, and 4 to say how JC could have done it better.

21. Eric B - 10:42 pm // Thursday, September 13, 2012

Ok NOW I get why they did that. That’s cool.
