Man, this interview was really interesting, but I get the feeling that the transcription is really poor. Sometimes it’s hard to follow what Billy was supposedly saying. Lots of errors or just things that don’t make sense.
pretty cool that he mentioned M83
for me, Hurry Up We’re Dreaming is the first record to do what MCIS did .. since MCIS
takes you on an adventure the same way Mellon Collie did – what a fucking great record that is

Yea Susan, totally caught that too, I think it was just translation errors. Like the Radiohead section was really confusing to me, like some parts of it are out of context or something along those lines.
yes redhand – i LOVE m83, but this comparison just isnt fair.
i was in a record shop in Scotland this afternoon, and there were plenty of records he’s made, the daft lad.
