After being bashed by Spin Magazine’s Marc Hogan over their “return to a major label” for Oceania, the Smashing Pumpkins score a #1 debut on the Billboard Independent Albums chart with Oceania.

Somebody needs to let Marc Hogan the difference between a distributor and financial assistant. These Magazine critics/bloggers talk more out of their asses then (insert analogy or comment)

Anyone else find it odd that HU hasn’t posted anything about the Pisces reissue?

6. zanzabar - 3:43 pm // Friday, June 29, 2012

no
because nothing official has been announced

HU doesn’t rely on Monte’s semi retarded blog for post entries

7. soltmen - 6:27 pm // Friday, June 29, 2012

^ I do think HU helps themselves to Monte’s semi retarded blog quite a bit. On Monday the 24th I posted that I received an email from Insound to pre-order the Pisces reissue

8. zanzabar - 9:43 pm // Friday, June 29, 2012

uh say what dude?

what post? what email? and fyi monday was the 25th

are you a semi retarded contributor to monte’s blog?

9. Jon Morgan - 11:43 pm // Friday, June 29, 2012

i read that too somewhere. anyway this is the deal: MUSE:the resistance is fucking awesome to listen too after Oceania. I’m just saying.

10. lala - 4:52 am // Saturday, June 30, 2012

Marc Hogan is a Stone Roses fanboy.

11. Jonk - 5:10 am // Saturday, June 30, 2012

Jon do you know that the guy that mixed Oceania did some stuff for Muse too? On a side note, I do think both bands have been borrowing from eachother in a friendly way

Results. Not excuses.

13. gsmamz - 8:29 pm // Saturday, June 30, 2012

Hahaha….just “semi” retarded?

14. stevieboy - 9:50 pm // Saturday, June 30, 2012

I could see The Resistance being a good companion to Oceania. Shame it’s not up to standard with usual Muse records or else it would be perfect.

15. gsmamz - 11:44 pm // Saturday, June 30, 2012

The Resistance (Pro)

Seems like Oceania fell out of the top 10, maybe even top 20. Same for Fionna. Tis’ shame, Billy really needs that single.

@ zanzabar, June 2,2012 HU reports Corgan provides details on Mellon Collie,Aeroplane reissues by Susan. There is a direct reference to information posted by Crestfallen.
Monday 24th 25th does it matter, Monte doesn’t need any of my retarded help.

18. chris - 6:03 pm // Sunday, July 1, 2012

@Soltmen: Are you a copy editor? If so, I beg to differ. Sorry, couldn’t resist :)

19. zanzabar - 10:08 pm // Sunday, July 1, 2012

1. uh, yeah, because crestfallen was the primary source of that info… DUH
