Corgan track on Ray Davies collaborations album 2:28 pm // Wednesday, September 22, 2010

As previously reported, Billy Corgan recently remade the Kinks’ song “Destroyer” — which itself was already a reworking of that band’s “All Day and All of the Night” — with king Kink Ray Davies. This recording will be issued as the final track of Davies’s forthcoming album See My Friends, to be released November 1 on Universal Music TV.

Totally unrelated, but just now, a song came on and I found myself thinking “Who the heck is this? It sounds like Billy Corgan.” Turns out it was the Rolling Stones. Only a few months ago, I openly loled at the person who compared SP to the Rolling Stones. :/
