SP.com posted this evening [via MySpace] that Smashing Pumpkins keyboardist Lisa Harriton will be performing a solo show at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas on Thursday, March 19th at 5pm. According to the Austin Chronicle, Ms. Harriton will be performing with country maven Joy Davis, the experimental-fusion Will Evans Project, and soul singer Chris Pierce.
Let the speculation begin. Will she attend the Tinted Windows performance? … or perform with James Hetfield and crew? Or will Girl Talk just mash ‘em up and make a film about it?
